I used to be an art major…for something like 6 weeks before my parents finally convinced me that I needed a stable income as an adult. By the time I was a junior, I had just about had it with science, so I took a year off and spent it in LA making art and playing music. It remains as one of the best decisions of my life.

Anyway, art is and always will be a huge part of my life. I sometimes mix it in with neuroscience, just to make it sound credible. Im so incredibly lucky to work with Dr. Ramachandran’s lab, considering that he has made the the fusion of art and neuroscience popular. His work still amazes me.

Anyway, I redid the blog. Its prettier now and hopefully more enjoyable. I cant help but wonder if being colorful is a bad thing in a world of white collar scientists. But lately I have been around some really colorful scientists — so if I take good notes, I think I’ll survive :)
