anger = reality - utopia
scribbled on the back of a journal article, a great conversation brought me to this conclusion last night
implications:
reality = utopia + anger
there is utopia inherent in reality, but it is overshadowed by anger
utopia = reality - anger
the way to restore utopia is to remove anger
anger = reality - utopia
anger is a function of reality (ie. the current state of the world)

Having contact with your beneficiary (the person who is benefiting from your hard work) has a positive effect on how hard you work.
A simple study entitled “Impact and the art of motivation maintenance: The effects of contact with beneficiaries on persistence behavior” has shown that between 3 groups of workers:
